About Clasr

A manuscript leaves traces before any reader formally evaluates it.

A claim's position. Where the evidence stops short of it. Whether a method is shown, or just described. These show up in the text itself, before peer review even starts.

01 Non-decisional by design

02 Visibility before judgment

03 Human reading stays central

Clasr reads a manuscript the way a careful reviewer would, then writes that reading down: labeled signals, located, scored for severity.

It doesn't decide anything. The report is the reading. The judgment is still yours.

A structured report,
not a verdict.

Authors get a map of what's visible in their manuscript on a careful read: not a score, not a verdict, not a recommendation.

Clasr surfaces what's there. What you do with it is yours.

Cross the line into judgment.

  • Score manuscripts. No rating, no acceptance probability, no quality grade.
  • Write reviews. Clasr does not impersonate a reviewer. It will not write the review for you.
  • Rewrite prose. Revision is the author’s call. Clasr surfaces the pattern; you decide what to do with it.
  • Retain uploaded content. The manuscript is read, the report is written, then it is deleted. Nothing is used to train models.

Show you what’s there.

  • Read across eleven sections, from macro framing through methods, results, discussion, figures, limits, and reproducibility.
  • Calibrate to the journal tier. A Q1 manuscript is read against Q1 expectations, a Q3 manuscript against Q3 expectations.
  • Adapt to the field, with no subject restriction. The same eleven sections apply whether the manuscript is in physics, law, or literature, calibrated to what is normal for that field.
  • State the basis of each observation, tagged by inference type: observation, interpretive, or quantitative.
  • Speak in three voices, for authors, reviewers, and advisors.
  • Track whether a central claim survives from introduction to conclusion.

Where Clasr sits among other tools.

Some tools find and summarize relevant papers, for literature discovery and systematic review. Others draft prose or write reviewer-style critiques. A separate category checks technical correctness: proof validity, equation correctness, formal mathematical reasoning.

Clasr does something else. It makes a manuscript’s editorial and structural patterns visible before submission, without a verdict.

Narrow and deep. Built for one task done well.

For researchers preparing a manuscript. For advisors and supervisors. For institutions, journal editors, and funding agencies tracking open-science compliance.

It reads English manuscripts, any field, and performs best on completed drafts. Partial submissions work too, abstract only, methods only, whatever you have. Missing sections are noted, not skipped.

A broader family of academic intelligence tools.

Clasr is the first publicly available system in the Clasr Suite, a family of tools built on the same discipline: structured signals, traceable evidence, no verdicts.

Clasr Suite already extends into argument architecture, citation function, reproducibility audits, figure and table integrity, and publication strategy. These are available now through enterprise contracts and custom institutional deployments.

Clasr is not a proof checker, a math verifier, a peer-review automaton, or a publication outcome predictor.

The judgment stays with you.

What Clasr does is simpler: it shows you how your manuscript reads under careful attention, and stops there.
